BROADSTONE DIT STOP

The Broadstone – DIT Stop [ see map ] will have lateral platforms and be located adjacent to the Broadstone building with access from Constitution Hill. The stop will serve the existing residential population and will be a key stop in the future for students and staff accessing the planned DIT campus at Grangegorman.
Depending on a number of factors this could well be my local stop. I live at Henrietta Place and in theory Dominick Street should be my local stop but if I take a short-cut through Kings Inn’s and exit onto Constitution Hill the Broadstone Stop should be just across the road beside the “Maxol” service station [has been demolished since my last visit] and this is much closer to my front door. Unfortunately the entrance to King’s Inns if often closed on bank holidays, Sundays and at night. Sometimes it is possible the enter King’s Inns via Henrietta Street but it is now always possible to exit out onto Constitution Hill. I suppose that I could also use Upper Dominick Street to get to the stop.
